Maintenance – Secured Support
Warranties.

All our network installations are warranted for 12 months from completion and date of client acceptance.
Our warranty provides for the correction of any defective equipment, materials or workmanship attributable to FOSS for the duration of the warranty period. Any defects will be corrected free of charge.
The warranty will not however cover for any failures which are the result of negligent or accidental damage by others.
Any networking equipment and hardware will be covered by suppliers’ and manufacturers’ warranties which are normally a minimum of one year.
Secured Support.

Secured Support is an annual maintenance support service provided by FOSS. It is available in various forms and levels of cover depending upon the client requirements and the nature of their business.
Secured Support can provide both preventive maintenance services in addition to emergency call out and spares support. The level of cover can be Sunday to Thursday normal business hours or a full 24/7 support service with guaranteed response and call out times.
Secured Support contracts can cover the following support options:
- Emergency Response – 24 hours, 8 hours or 4 hours
- Routine Preventive Maintenance
- On site spares replacement
- Site Audits and documentation
Secured Support can also include fibre characterisation services on existing optical networks to define the full optical characteristics of the fibre cable plant and determine their ability to support next generation optical transmission technologies.
