ComSol Communication Solutions Limited was formed in November 1987 and has addressed the rapidly expanding LAN and communications marketplace through the provision of network design, installation and commissioning services.

ComSol has extensive experience with organisations in the telecom, media, retail, pharmaceutical, academia and other public sectors as well as in the more traditional commercial markets. We are committed to meeting and exceeding our client’s expectations by continual assessment and review of our levels of service provision. That is why, for every service and maintenance contract, we provide full management and administrative back-up and carefully structured operating and reporting procedures.
In addition to its cable installation services ComSol is also involved in the specification and supply of network equipment for Ethernet, Token Ring and FDDI applications. In recent years ComSol has expanded the number of services available to their client base, these include the design, specification and installation of: network consultancy, air conditioning, UPS, fire alarms, telephone systems, electrical installation, maintenance/servicing contracts, network design, fire suppressant (FM 200), door access, CCTV, civil works, office refurbishment and communication room (design and build).
Each of these services has been introduced with the objective of offering complete communication solutions to an ever demanding market place. Our clients agree that it is sound business sense to liaise with a single, professional company to manage the above areas, since each can be networked on a single cabling infrastructure. Our clients now have the opportunity of dealing with one company to supply and manage all aspects of their internal, and external, communication requirements. This, from a logistical point of view, frees up a client’s management time to concentrate on other important aspects of their work. ComSol also enjoy a reputation as a company who can manage other auxiliary services, which some may consider outside of many similar companies’ remit. For example, ComSol are fully conversant with the rules and regulations appertaining to ‘Road Digs’ and other civil works, especially in Central London, where we are installing one of the largest, and most complex, independent Fibre networks in the UK, for University College London. ComSol are also able to take control of the management logistics and installation of complete office refurbishment, which again reduces a company’s management time.
The ComSol Project and Management team has many years’ experience in providing solutions to Customer’s communication problems, which have covered a wide range of applications. Our Management team has considerable depth of experience in the networking and communications arena. Our Director and other members of our engineering and installation teams were previously employed by Mercury Communications, where they were instrumental in the design and implementation of the very first Mercury UK wide telecommunications networks. Although based in the South East of England, ComSol’s reputation has been built on providing a nationwide service to its Customers. Its whole philosophy is based on maximum flexibility and speed of response. To this end, all our key personnel carry mobile telephones and/or pagers. We are contactable 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. ComSol is an approved ISO 9002 supplier. The vast majority of ComSol’s business is gained from repeat business and Customer referral.
